Midtown Curls is a safe, relaxing space created by our team who has gone through the journey of loving their own waves and curls. It's not just a haircut to us. We believe embracing your curls is an act of radical self love.


When you visit our salon, you can expect one-on-one coaching from your stylist to care for and curate your curls at home. All of our stylists go through extensive training by Midtown Curls founder and master stylist, Anna Palotai, in curly hair cutting and advanced color techniques. All textures are welcome in our salon including coily, curly, wavy, and straight hair.

Midtown Curls is Reno’s pioneer curly hair salon specializing in natural textures and offering an experience uniquely tailored to you! When we opened the salon in 2015, we wanted to create an inclusive space where our guests could learn to embrace their texture while relaxing in our spa-like atmosphere.


Clients visit us from all over Reno, the west coast, and beyond to enjoy our signature life changing curly hair experiences. Our space is homey, bright, clean, and an overall fun and loving environment! We also enjoy bringing spa and wellness energy into our space with relaxing hair detox sessions with the use of gua sha stones, hot aromatherapy towels, and steam treatments.
